Banks and oils lead FTSE to close up
April 25, 2008 on 12:08 pm | In Business News |LONDON (Reuters) - The top share index ended up 0.7 percent on Friday as optimism that banks had seen the worst of credit-related writedowns lifted the sector and oil stocks tracked higher crude prices.
